Introduction

See the testing and benchmarking guide for information on what each benchmark does. The data here is a copy and paste of the output from the benchmark.

Platform Notes

Windows 7 RC 7600, quad-core Q8200, CPU 2 GHz, DDR3 64-bit dual-channel bus 800 Mhz

The Q8200 is a single package quad core chip, but the 'single package' is in fact two seperate two core packages in a single package. No hyperthreading for this CPU.

Windows 7 RFM, dual-core i5, CPU 2.40 GHz, DDR3 64-bit dual-channel bus 1066 Mhz

The i5 is hyperthreaded, with two threads per core. Logical CPUs #1 and #2 are physical CPU 1, which logical CPUs #3 and #4 are physical CPU 2.
